International World Peace Day Celebration

Rotary Club of Bhaktapur successfully celebrated International World Peace Day on 21st September 2025 at the historic Taumadi Square, Bhaktapur. The event was jointly organized with Rotaract Club of Bhaktapur, Rotaract Club of KMC Duwakot, and Interact Clubs of Everest English School, Mount Valley School, and Medha Secondary School. The celebration also welcomed participation from the general public, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and togetherness.
The theme of the program, “Act Now for a Peaceful World,” was reflected in peace rallies & awareness messages promoting harmony, compassion, and non-violence. A special highlight was the lighting of numerous candles around the Rotary International (RI) logo, spreading a peaceful message to all and symbolizing Rotary’s unwavering commitment to peace and harmony.
