Co-Hosting Inter-City AI Meeting

Rotary Club of Bhaktapur proudly participated as a co-host club in the Inter-City Meeting (ICM) organized by RC Kasthamandap on 14th March 2026 at Hotel Radisson Kathmandu. The theme of the meeting was “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence & Its Societal Impact,” focusing on the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern society and its implications across different sectors.
The keynote session was delivered by Mr. Bihan Rana, who shared valuable insights on the fundamentals of AI, emerging technologies, ethical considerations, opportunities, challenges, and the societal transformation driven by artificial intelligence. The session encouraged participants to better understand the role of AI in education, healthcare, business, communication, and community development.
The program brought together Rotarians from various clubs under Rotary District 3292, creating an interactive platform for learning, networking, and exchanging ideas regarding technological advancement and responsible innovation. As a co-host club, Rotary Club of Bhaktapur actively supported participation, coordination, and promotion of the event.
The meeting highlighted Rotary’s commitment to promoting knowledge-sharing, innovation, and awareness on contemporary global issues while encouraging members to adapt to emerging technologies for positive community impact.
