Project Description

The participation and contribution of the Rotary Club of Bhaktapur in the Road Safety Symposium during Road Safety Week reflects the club’s strong commitment toward public service and community welfare. By contributing Rs. 6,000 as a host club and actively participating in the program, RC Bhaktapur supported an important social cause focused on sustainable urban health, road safety awareness, walking culture, cycling promotion, and safe public transportation.

This program brought together government bodies, traffic police, road safety committees, urban planners, health experts, local partners, and Rotary clubs under one platform. RC Bhaktapur’s involvement helped strengthen collaboration between civic organizations and public authorities for the common good of society. Such participation demonstrates that the club is not only engaged in charitable activities but is also actively contributing to national awareness campaigns and policy discussions that directly affect public safety and healthy living.

The club’s support also enhanced public image by showing its dedication toward community leadership, social responsibility, and partnership-building. Supporting road safety initiatives helps educate citizens, encourage safer behavior on roads, and promote healthier and more environmentally friendly transportation systems. Through this contribution and presence, Rotary Club of Bhaktapur successfully represented Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self” and reinforced its role as a responsible and proactive community organization.
