School Mental Health Awareness - Himalaya School

Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with Sambhav Inc, successfully organised a School Mental Health Awareness Program for the students of Classes 8, 9, and 10 at Himalaya School , Kathmandu on 11 June, 2026. The session was facilitated by Usha KC.
The 45-minute interactive session focused on the importance of mental health, emotional well-being, stress management, self-confidence, and positive thinking among students. It provided a supportive platform where students could openly learn, share, and understand the significance of maintaining a healthy mind alongside academic growth.
Mental health awareness in schools plays a vital role in helping students manage emotions, cope with challenges, build resilience, and create healthy relationships. Encouraging conversations around mental well-being also helps reduce stigma and promotes a positive and supportive learning environment for every student.
